Bryan Hodgson
President
Coach Bryan Hodgson’s early childhood shaped who he is today, in large part to his experience as a foster child and eventual adoption by his parents Larry and Rebecca Hodgson. Being adopted at the young age of 2 years old allowed coach Hodgson to grow up in an environment where he was able to chase his dream of going to college and eventually becoming a college basketball coach. Bryan was born to a single 14-year-old mother who at the time was not able to handle the responsibilities that come with raising and taking care of a child. Today he has chosen to give back participating and helping to organize/run many events for fostered children and adoption agencies across the country. He also has joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and has been a mentor for 6 years. Bryan has spent time working at a juvenile detention center, group homes, as well as running/assisting with youth basketball organizations for at-risk youth around Western New York and Central Alabama.

I chose to join Bryan In this journey with Coaching Love because of the impact I believe we can have on our youth. The platform we have started from us being a couple of dreamers, hoping to one day be at this level of coaching, and now we are so excited to have the opportunity to give back to our youth. It used to be us!
